RPS unveils new global brand to position the Group for future growth
15 January 2019
- A modern and unified global identity in a complex world -
RPS, a leading multi-sector global professional services firm, today unveils a new brand identity that positions the Group for future growth. The new visual identity brings the RPS story to life and signals a renewed focus for the Group to deliver upon its strategy.
Since 1970, RPS has grown into a global team of 5,600 creative professionals and service providers and has established itself as a market leading professional services firm that has operated in 125 countries across all six continents.
The new brand reflects RPS' proud heritage and its progress over nearly 50 years, beginning as a small rural planning services firm. The new and forward-looking identity positions the business for continued growth in a world of rapidly changing market trends, ensuring that it is well placed to tackle the challenges and opportunities that a complex world brings. Set against the backdrop of a consolidating industry, our new brand seeks to position RPS as the best mid-sized professional services company in its sector, worldwide.
Informed by an independent client perception audit and comprehensive engagement with employees, along with expert third-party research, the brand encapsulates the essence of the Group via three core concepts: its purpose (why it exists), its promise (what it does) and its behaviours (how it does it).
Last year, RPS refined its business model and global structure, identifying six sectors and 12 services clusters to reflect the truly global nature of the business and to further enable our people to meet the requirements of our clients. RPS also outlined five strategic priorities, which included 'telling our story better'. The new brand unveiled today clearly delivers against this priority and represents another key step in the advancement of RPS' strategy. The Board believes this will benefit stakeholders by enhancing the clarity and impact of the RPS businesses and connectivity between them.
The new brand will be reflected across RPS' global footprint through the course of 2019.
As part of the brand launch, the new RPS global website is now live at www.rpsgroup.com
The website has been completely redesigned with making complex easy in mind to effectively reflect the global, unified RPS business. It showcases our deep expertise, innovation and technology and highlights our experts. This means that the website speaks to local and global clients more intuitively by focusing on the problems RPS' talented global teams are there to solve.
Commenting on the new brand, John Douglas, Group CEO of RPS, said:
"The future for RPS is about being at the forefront of changing market trends, identifying growth opportunities and delivering complex solutions in a way that is easy to understand and implement. Alongside investment in our brand, we will continue to focus on our people, technology and innovation to build on the deep expertise that our clients have recognised and give us a strong competitive edge in all the markets that we operate in. We are pragmatic in our aspirations and we have the capability to utilise the means available to us to achieve our goals.
"We are here today thanks to the confidence and trust of our people, our shareholders, and our clients. RPS has a strong future ahead of us with an exciting new corporate brand - a strong brand - that captures the essence of our full potential around the world, a committed team aligned around our purpose, our behaviours and a promise to make complex easy."
